How you’ll make an impact

It’s an exciting time for the accounting industry as it undergoes a large-scale digital transformation. As a key member of Xero’s Canadian Enterprise team, you will directly influence the success of large Canadian firms and their clients.

Working closely with Enterprise Partner Success Managers (EPSMs), you will develop and execute national initiatives that embed best practices across the Xero platform through exceptional consulting experiences. Your foundation of product expertise, change management, project management, and process knowledge will ensure our consulting services differentiate Xero, helping Enterprise Partners activate and scale their use of the Xero platform successfully.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a technical expert on the Xero platform, advising on workflows and SOPs that drive business improvement for our Enterprise Partners.
  • Develop and deliver national technical training plans tailored to the workflows of our Enterprise Partners.
  • Support and drive data conversion efforts, partnering closely with the Xero Migration Team and our Enterprise Partners to accelerate client account migrations.
  • Deliver tailored, value-led solutions—navigating complex deals, handling objections, and driving outcomes using Xero’s sales tools and methodology.
  • Collaborate with EPSMs and other cross functional stakeholders to create, execute, and refine change management and activation strategies across the partner journey.
  • Proactively identify risks and obstacles, communicating internally to ensure prompt action.
  • Recommend process improvements, operational efficiencies, and product upgrade opportunities.
  • Support powerful business reviews for Enterprise Partners, incorporating meaningful data, metrics, and strategic insights.
  • Represent Xero at webinars, roadshows, and Partner conferences.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all client communications (calls, emails, meetings).
  • Meet KPIs and report regularly on performance to peers and management.
  • Travel as needed to support Partners in-person.

  • What You’ll Bring With You

  • Experience in a large national accounting firm or in accounting technology consulting preferred
  • Presentation and/or training delivery experience
  • Accounting software and workflow knowledge
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Experience contributing to and deploying strategies to lessen the impact of change on an individual. Prosci certification will be highly regarded
  • Project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and systems
  • Experience selling or leading implementations for Xero or similar platforms will be highly regarded
  • CPA designation a bonus
  • Industry Expertise: Enthusiasm for the emerging cloud accounting market and its potential
  • Change management: Enthusiasm and passion for deploying strategies to lessen the impact of change on individuals and organizations.
  • Building relationships: A natural tendency towards building mutually beneficial partnerships and ability to create quick, strong rapport with accountants and other stakeholders
  • Productivity: Results driven with strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Collaboration & teamwork: Ability to work cohesively with the partner sales team using Xero’s four pronged approach
  • Presentation skills: Outstanding communication, planning and presentation skills
  • Solution orientation: Capacity to learn, adapt and apply ideas in constantly morphing situations
