How you’ll make an impact:
As a National Account Manager here at Xero, you will be responsible for managing, developing and growing Big 4 and National mid-tier Accounting Partners by helping them to develop and execute a digital strategy.
The overall aim of this high impact role is to support their continual success in migrating clients on to the Xero platform. This is a field based role requiring extensive appointment making, meeting management and travel around the country. You’ll form great relationships with your Accounting Partners and also work closely with your National Account Manager colleagues to make sure that you and your colleagues are working in the best way to support Xero’s success overall as we continue to grow.
What you'll do: Manage the sales and account management relationships with Big 4 and national mid-tier Accounting PartnersExecute and coordinate national training and implementation programsDrive customer numbers up and achieve monthly targetsDrive online strategy and alignment deep within each accounting practiceDevelop project plans to support migration to Xero for large and multi-entity clients of Big 4 and national mid-tier accounting PartnersWork directly with large and multi-entity clients to demonstrate and sell the value of XeroEnsure that a national Partner engagement plan is developed for each PartnerManage and coordinate multiple stakeholders and decision makers within each PartnerEnsure Partners and and other employees within the Practice attend introductory webinars, events & certification trainingWork closely with local Xero Senior Account Account managers to drive local awareness and engagement with the Xero platform, plus ensure the execution of national rollout of training programsEducate Partners on all Partner resources available to them Monitor all existing Partners as they progress through the sales cycleUpdate our CRM system (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetingsMaintain and update our CRM system of all practice staff and contact detailsRespond in a timely manner to all Partner enquiriesEngage in a call cycle (a minimum of every 8 weeks) with all allocated PartnersDrive attendance at Xero sales events and Partner forumsWork closely with Partner Consulting team to deliver the business planEngage with Xero product and support teams to ensure a seamless Partner experience with Xero What you'll bring with you: Proven sales performance in Financial Technology products and/or Accounting Software and PaymentsDirect Experience in selling + cross selling multiple productsExperience with managing long term C-suite level relationships for groups with offices across the countryExperience with SalesForce (or similar) CRM platformsDirect experience and knowledge of the workings of an accounting practiceLoads of initiative and the ability to work autonomouslyOutstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationshipsAbility to create a quick and strong rapport with PartnersAttention to detail and follow-upAn interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market and FintechA clear results driven approach with the passion and desire to make a difference Additional Information Why Xero?
