Director, Sales Engineering

The Role

Wpromote is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Sales Engineering Leader to build and scale our sales engineering team. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives in fast-paced, consultative sales environments and can operate as both a builder and doer — partnering with sales reps to develop the processes and tools our deals require, and then turning those into processes that a larger team can run at higher scale.

This position will require both strategic leadership and day-to-day execution to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value for prospects. You’ll help prospects understand the connection between our unique capabilities and achieving their desired business outcomes using our Command of the Message framework, ensuring every pitch and proposal quantifies value in a way that differentiates Wpromote in the market.

This leader will play a critical role in architecting the systems, tools, and processes that support a scalable sales engineering practice — and in time, hire and mentor a high-performing team to drive the next stage of growth.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $135,000- $155,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
