Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Learning and Development Intern to join our team for a 40/hour week paid internship as a member of the Talent Management team. The core focus of the role is to collaborate with talent and learning partners on company-wide projects for Workato’s global team. In this role, you will assist with:

Content Creation

  • Assist in creating training materials based on feedback and learning objectives.

  • Publish and update our internal publications via Confluence.

  • Assess development needs, use instructional design tools, curate learning resources to drive engagement, analyze and report on training metrics.

  • Assist with the administration of learning resources, including Workato’s Learning Management System and e-learning subscriptions.  

Training and Enablement

  • Coordinate and prepare materials for training sessions and workshops. 

  • Provide admin support related to employee listening and company surveys.

  • Conduct research to support continuous improvement of training practices.

  • Be a voice for Workato in communicating a range of learning offerings to our people.

  • Serve as an administrator for learning resources.

Performance Management 

  • Provide performance management administrative support each quarter (e.g., preparing trainings, compiling reports, and associated tasks as needed).

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
  • College student or college graduate.

  • Systems savvy - proficient in G-suite and familiar with various types of apps.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical with a curiosity to problem-solve.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience writing both technical and business documents.

  • Strong ability to collaborate throughout the company and across international time zones.

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to hit short deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Thoughtful team player, a quick learner, and have a “can do” attitude with a growth mindset.
