As a Senior Project Manager at
WongDoody, you willbe responsible forthe management ofacomplex,business criticalprojectfor one of our key strategic accounts.This project exists as part of a broader programme of work,andyou’llbe working alongside other members of the Delivery teamacrossWongDoodyand Infosys, our parent organisation.You’ll
bea key point of contactwith theclient, building andnurturingrelationshipswith a globally distributed set ofdifferentstakeholders. Your role will be tosupport them as they navigate the complexities ofbusiness go-live in digital channels.You’lldo this with skill,diplomacyand enthusiasm, bringing clarity to our internalDelivery team,and alsoto our client leadership team.This role
requires someone who has specific experience of working on multi-site roll outs using Adobe Experience manager (AEM). This is a key skill thatwe’relooking for, as we need a person who can guide the teamregardingthat platform and advise the client in their planning and executionThe successful candidate will
be able todemonstratestrongexperiencein delivering projects with a multi-matrix approach to both technical and business go live.Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead the scoping,planningandreportingofamulti-site rollout across multiple lines of business in several global markets
- Clearly articulate the critical path for achieving the project’s coreobjectivesand proactively navigate both client teams and internal teams through that process by mitigating risks ahead
- Work with the relevant discipline leadsand client stakeholders to bring everyone on the journey together with clarity and drive
- Ensurethat the delivery of work is achieved with a highly collaborative approach
- Monitor risks and dependencies across the project, both at the client side and internally towards the agency
- Provide regular status reports for stakeholders, including detailed dashboard style reports for the client in relation to this specific project
- Deliver high scoring client satisfaction
Budget
& FinancialManagement- Track and report financial status of your projects.
- Monitor and proactively mitigate potential overruns, highlighting to the Group Delivery Director and Engagement Director when an overrun is likely to occur.
- Escalate and resolve financial issues as they happen.
Resource Planning
- Work with Head of Staffing & DisciplineLeadsto plan resource requirements for your project and ensure these are accurately reflected in Forecast (resource management system).
- Work with client stakeholders to support them,validatingthey are adequately resourced and setup to achieve the aims andobjectivesof the project
WHAT YOU'RE LIKE
- You have a can-do mindset with the ability to prioritise and to work independently.
- Experienced in all stages of the delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering and discovery phases through to running teams and workstreams of people who will implement the solution.
- A team player with a good sense of humour and commitment tohigh standards
- Excellent attention to detail andanability to tell a powerful story through project data
- Expert at managing client expectations, acting as a proxy for our agency within our client’s business
- Confident engaging with client stakeholders at all levels from Product Management through to HeadsOfDept and CIO
WHAT YOU'VE GOT
- Deep, demonstratable experience of delivery multi-site projects using Adobe AEM
- Experience of leadingcomplexprogrammesacross differenttimezonesand locations
- Evidence of managing multi-disciplined project teams onshore and offshore
- An aptitude for managing different client stakeholders who are all at various stages of their journey within a scaled transformation programme
- Understanding of aspects of business changerequiredto implement the delivery
- Experience in delivering projects that use Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to turn requirements into project scope with assumptions, effort estimates, delivery approach, governance structure, plans and budget.
- Strong knowledge and best practice approach for project management and product development/delivery.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and achieve results.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills across all mediums – presentation, written, verbal.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks,projectsand priorities.
- Ability to handle challenging client situations.
