We are looking for a Student interested in a part-time role to join our Insurance & Risk team, coordinating operational activities of our insurance program.   We use established insurance products and Insurtechs to build coverages and processes that help us manage unexpected incidents that a platform company experiences.  This is a global role that impacts all users of the Wolt platform.  The role is based in Copenhagen.

This role supports our couriers, merchants and the communities we operate in through our Courier Accident and Third Party Liability program.  The role facilitates claims management, and collaborates with numerous global teams to enhance user experience, build efficiency and mitigate risk.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

• Support daily administration of the insurance & risk portfolio
• Coordinate with other teams - Trust & Safety, Finance, Legal and Operations
• Main point of contact for our local teams, supporting their insurance related questions
• Coordinate with our insurers and brokers
• Engage with our InsurTech partners
• Communicate with our courier partners, customers and merchants
• Monitor the platform economy and social protection solutions for gig workers

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive student to join our global insurance team at Wolt.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and a solid foundation in project management.

• Currently studying with intention to work 10-12 hours per week
• Interested in law, compliance, risk, insurance, or economics
• Experience in leading projects
• Thrives with autonomy
• Brilliant mind with ability to think strategically and develop data-driven solutions
• Analytical mindset to effectively weigh risks and payoffs in a number of scenarios
• Fluent in English with German and other languages a bonus
