The editorial specialist will support the Media Team’s senior digital writer in the developmentof organic social media and paid media deliverables. Weekly assignments will include organic social captions and potentialgraphic content. Paid media copy may be requested at the senior writer’s discretion.

  • Draft and edit externally facing caption copy;typically, 5-7 pieces of content.
  • Manage administrative actions necessary to move social and paid assets from concept to creation via Adobe Workfront.
  • Build out the necessary administrative templates for each writing project you areassigned to.
  • Research and collect information for all social media campaigns and projects; thisincludes but is not limited to stakeholder requirements and other information necessaryto build out each post.
  • Be responsible for your writing projects start to finish; this includes but is not limited toensuring you have the information needed to get started, the creative process,copyediting and legal circulation process.
  • Join the Social Media team’s daily standup to update others on the status of currentprojects.
  • Keep a running record of all published organic social copy to ensure we are not repetitive in our delivery.
  • Maintain and organize social media deliverables.

Must-have Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in organic and paid social media content creation andare familiar with popular platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Demonstrate exemplary writing skills with emphasis on clarity and creativity to helpinspire desired action from target audiences.
  • Have a portfolio of work that demonstrates your expertise in organic social mediaand paid media campaigns.
  • Have worked with designers and feel comfortable being involved in each part of thecreative process.
  • Familiar with APA style guidelines and capable of tailoring your writing style to the stakeholder's voice and tone.
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply proper spelling, punctuation and grammar to work assignments.
  • Team player and self-starter; comfortable switching gears when necessary.

Nice-to-have
  • AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.

  • Experience in financial services is preferred but not required.

  • Video scripting experience is preferred but not required.

  • Thought leadership content creation preferred but not required.
