Welding Supervisor (Super Heavy Booster)

📋 Description

• Manage hourly welders and technicians; assign daily work.
• Create and maintain a tight production schedule; provide daily assignments.
• Recruit and mentor welders and technicians in the shop.
• Track shop metrics; partner with engineering to maximize delivery.
• Collaborate with management and engineering to streamline processes.
• Lead by example; motivate safety, quality, and rate improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree or 5+ years welding experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.6, and D1.2.
• General welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment knowledge.
• Experience building and leading cohesive teams.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T, and follow procedures.
