- Develop and qualify weld processes across EBW, laser, GTAW, and more.
- Support production on full-scale welded assemblies; guide manufacturing teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis with design, manufacturing, and materials teams.
- Collaborate with design, tooling, and automation to improve welds.
- Set up qualification tests and interpret mechanical testing and NDE results.
- Work with NDE to assess weld quality and advance NDE techniques.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 1+ years hands-on welding fabrication or testing experience.
- Master’s degree in welding engineering or related field (preferred).
- Hands-on welding in stainless, nickel-based, titanium, copper, and aluminum.
- Knowledge of EBW, laser, plasma arc, resistance, FSW, GTAW, and GMAW.
- Robot programming for automated welding.
