Strategy & Execution Manager

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $110,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package.Must be onsite in Boston, MA (Monday-Thursday)Wayfair is seeking a highly motivated manager to lead Physical Retail Strategy & Execution for our Specialty Retail Brands. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of how customers engage with our Speciality Retail Brands and offering. You'll be responsible for developing and executing on a comprehensive roadmap, spearheading innovative projects, and partnering with teams like store leadership, tech, and analytics to improve the customer and store associate experience. This role comes with the potential to build the team out more as the business grows.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and execute a roadmap of actionable, data-backed initiatives to grow store top line, identifying key opportunities for growth, market differentiation, and customer experience enhancements. This includes defining new service offerings, technology requirements, and operational efficiencies and launching to store teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with various teams, including merchants, planning & assortment, analytics, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives. You'll be the central point of contact for all growth initiatives, driving alignment and accountability across departments.
• Field Support: Support associates and managers in the field by developing a deep understanding of store processes and pain points, clearing roadblocks, and providing feedback on store performance.Business Performance Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and growth of each store. You'll identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize performance.
• Market & Customer Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving customer needs in the home furnishing and physical retail space. Translate these insights into actionable strategies to grow our retail business.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working in a physical retail environment

• Demonstrated ability to own sales-driving initiatives end-to-end, with a strong understanding of how to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
