Location: Toronto, ON

• The salary range for this position is 120,000-124,000 CAD per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
• This is a Toronto, ONbased opportunity with a 3 day in office expectation.

Search, Recommendations and MarTech: Provides the core platforms and services that allow our customers to discover & buy the products they love. Our systems leverage Wayfair’s extensive customer and product data to deliver trusted and valuable recommendations in real-time using custom machine learning models.

What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3 years of transferable software development experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical discipline
• Knowledge and experience working with object oriented programming languages
• Experience or exposure to SQL, Java, and Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent team player with a passion for collaboration
• Familiarity with creating software tools and functionality, debugging code, and successfully incorporating feedback into your work
• Strong skills in solving complex problems with simple abstract solutions
• An interest in working with big data and machine learning
• Experience with using cloud platforms to solve problems
• Experience working in agile environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take on projects or tool autonomously

What You’ll Do:

• Support designing and perform hands-on building of applications that are reliable, scalable and easy to maintain
• Ensure that engineering quality standards are met within your team
• Contribute to architectural and code review discussions that impact our engineering ecosystem
• Collaborate with leads and engineers on your team to solve a wide variety of business and technical problems
• Ensure our systems are properly documented
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering organization

Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Toronto-based interns, co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely the other 2 days of the week.
