Monitor and troubleshoot UPW systems (RO, EDI, UV, filtration)
Manage wastewater processes: pH neutralization, evaporators, AOP, crystallizers
Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, sensors, membranes; define schedules
Define water quality sampling and data logging; use Hach analyzers or equivalent
Respond to alarms and minimize downtime; target >99.9% availability
Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, and engineering on water usage and safety

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/math/science OR 3+ years in automated processes (control room/plant ops)
3+ years UPW production and/or industrial wastewater treatment
Strong knowledge of water chemistry, ion exchange, RO/EDI, wastewater technologies
IPC-A-600 or IPC-6012 certification
Lockout/Tagout, hazard analysis, and hot work permitting experience
