About the RoleThis role is for someone who lives and breathes the feed — someone who knows when to spark a hot take, when to lean into a meme, and when to turn a C-suite mic-drop into a LinkedIn earthquake.
You’ll set the strategy for VTEX’s North America social presence, align bold executive voices across channels, and lead the launch of a flagship podcast that asks the questions no one else is asking. You don’t have to write every post or script every line — but you do have to spot the gold, shape the narrative, and light the match.
You’ve done this before — with at least 3+ years of experience in podcast, social content, brand, or editorial (B2B/SaaS is a bonus, but not required). You’re fluent in internet culture, witty but professional, and energized by bold ideas. You’re also open to occasional travel for content capture, team sessions, or podcast production moments.
Launch and Lead Our PodcastOwn the end-to-end podcast strategy and execution: guests, ideas, prep, and content roll-out — working closely with a professional podcast agency and recording studios.
Turn every episode into snackable social gold — from savage pull-quotes to hilarious behind-the-scenes clips.
Ensure the podcast feels big, bold, and unmissable — with energy, clarity, and a little tension.
Create and repurpose content that doesn’t play it safe — it sparks debate, laughter, or at least a DM or two.
Build short-form video and campaign moments that grab attention and drive engagement across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Orchestrate cross-channel alignment so VTEX’s brand and exec voices hit harder, louder, and in sync.
Work closely with leadership — outspoken, high-conviction execs who like to challenge the status quo.
Translate provocative thinking into high-impact social storytelling without dulling the edge.
Amplify exec presence while keeping it connected to VTEX’s broader narrative and social strategy.
You’re not just running posts — you’re curating a conversation.
Spot moments to zig when others zag, call out industry nonsense.
Collaborate across content, brand, GTM, and comms to turn serious thought leadership into seriously good social content.

Who you are
Are opinionated and quick-witted, with the instincts of a stand-up comic and the judgment of a great editor.
Have experience producing or strategizing podcasts — from shaping episodes to spinning them into social gold.
Bring a background in SaaS, B2B or B2C commerce platforms, or the broader commerce/retail industry.
Have 3+ years of experience in social content, brand, or editorial roles.
Know American media culture inside-out — you understand the tone, the timing, and the tweet-before-it-trends vibe.
Love execs with a take — and know how to help shape and amplify it without watering it down.
Are organized, proactive, and collaborative — but never vanilla.
Are comfortable traveling for content capture, podcast production, or campaign moments (sometimes on short notice)
