📋 Description

• Oversee payroll and financial operations for accuracy and timeliness.
• Streamline workflows and automate processes where possible.
• Own multi-jurisdiction payroll tax filings including year-end reporting.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
• Shape strategic direction with the exec team to scale the function.
• Lead and develop a high-performing payroll operations team.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years leading payroll/financial ops in SaaS with multi-entity/state clients.
• 5+ years owning payroll tax compliance across federal/state/local.
• Proven ability to build and scale ops teams with QA, compliance, and process improvement.
• Strong financial management: payroll liabilities, funding, reconciliation, cost-to-serve.
• Hands-on with payroll platforms, tax engines, and accounting systems; partner with Product.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA/CPA/CPP preferred; strong executive presence.
