Develop senior relationships with banks and market participants to source loan sales.
Evaluate bank balance sheets and earnings to develop loan sale strategies.
Understand loan valuation, trading, and MSR matters (liens, HELs, HELOCs).
Be conversant in legacy mortgage products and securitization MSR matters.
Schedule and attend industry conferences and events.
Prepare new business proposals with strategy and valuation analysis.

🎯 Requirements

Bank/FIG analyst training or prior investment bank sell-side coverage.
Mortgage/real estate or structured products analyst training in financial services or real estate PE.
Experience in structured products, lending, special servicing, or real estate underwriting.
Residential loan sales experience at an established brokerage/advisory firm.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills; Salesforce a plus.
Strong business writing and communication skills.
