- Build and own GP/LP/SPV relationships with venture-backed, pre-IPO funds
- Source fund resale deal flow by engaging GPs, fund admins, and LPs
- Develop knowledge of fund structures, transfer mechanics, carried interest and fees
- Develop pipelines and co-brokerage arrangements to drive volume
- Coordinate with Transaction Services on diligence and asset verification
- Track pipeline, conversions, and revenue metrics; potential team leadership
🎯 Requirements
- 4+ years in LP secondary transactions, fund transfers, GP relationship management, or private fund intermediation
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with GPs, fund managers, LPs and institutional investors
- Deep understanding of LP fund transfer mechanics: GP consent, ROFR, transfers, portability, subscriptions
- Working knowledge of fund economics: carried interest, management fees, waterfalls
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed, or able to complete registrations soon after hiring
- Comfort operating in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment building the playbook
