As a Design System Designer, you will lead the evolution of a mission-critical system that powers consistency, scalability, and quality across all of our digital products. You’ll collaborate across design, engineering, and UX to define standards, streamline workflows, and ensure a cohesive user experience throughout our ecosystem.

This is a high-impact role - not only will you help shape the visual and functional foundations of our product, but your work will enable other designers and developers to work faster and smarter. You will play a pivotal role in leading the design system renovation and continuing adding essential documentation and ensuring smooth adoption across teams.

• Own and evolve our design system used across multiple platforms and products.
• Audit and optimize reusable components, design tokens, and documentation in Figma.
• Define design standards, patterns, and principles rooted in usability, accessibility, and brand alignment.
• Collaborate with product designers and developers to ensure the design system is implemented consistently and correctly in code.
• Evaluate design requests with a systems-thinking mindset, understanding how changes in one area affect the larger ecosystem with 2 separate business units and ensure changes in the design system cater for .
• Create and maintain clear, usable documentation and guidelines to support system adoption and implementation.
• Support and train designers and developers, answering questions and offering best practice guidance. 
• Proactively gather feedback from designers and iterate on the system to improve it over time.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles across components and documentation.
• Contribute to long-term sustainability through governance models and contribution workflows.
• It is a plus if you are able to understand Github documentation for better collaboration with developers

What you'll bring

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in product or UI/UX design, with a strong focus on design systems.
• Track record of building and maintaining complex Design systems.
• Expert Figma skills, including components, variables, tokens, and auto layout.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, atomic design, and systems thinking.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) and how design translates to code. 
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly.
• Strong understanding of industry best practices for Accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• A strategic mindset — you see the big picture and anticipate how changes in one place affect the whole system.
• A strong bias for collaboration, feedback, and education.
• Passion for scalable, maintainable design and delivering a seamless experience across teams.

Experience we consider a plus:

• Experience with design system governance, contribution workflows, and multi-brand systems.
• Familiarity with CodePen, design tokens, or design system management tools.
• Experience using GitHub and collaborating with engineering teams in a component-driven development environment.
• Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud communications platforms.
• Interest or background in how AI and automation can enhance design systems and user experiences.
