As (Senior) Mobile Engineer (d/f/m) your responsibilities will include:

  • being an integral, hands-on part of our growing Mobile Engineering team, owning critical parts of our mobile app experience
  • designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, performant, and scalable mobile applications using React Native
  • writing clean, testable, and efficient code, following best practices for mobile development, testing, and deployment
  • collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, Backend, and Business teams to deliver exceptional mobile-first features
  • staying on top of emerging mobile technologies and trends—and bring your insights into our product and engineering discussions
  • proactively contributing to improving the architecture, performance, and developer experience of our mobile platform
  • continuously improving CI/CD workflows, app performance, code quality, and test coverage
  • ensuring high standards in app store deployment, release management, and post-release monitoring

    • What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • solid experience building mobile apps using React Native in production environments
  • top-notch programming skills and a deep understanding of modern mobile application architecture and patterns
  • passion about iOS engineering, with experience in building, testing, releasing, and maintaining iOS apps (Android is a bonus!)
  • knowledge on how to write testable code and confidence in writing unit and integration tests for mobile apps
  • experience with native platform APIs and the ability to implement custom native modules for React Native
  • understanding of app performance bottlenecks and how to optimize for battery, startup time, and responsiveness
  • desire to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams and value collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement
  • excitement to build delightful mobile experiences for users across the globe while being a problem-solver and challenge-seeker
