Virtual Art Department Supervisor

📋 Description

• Represent Magnopus VAD to clients as primary contact and translator.
• Collaborate with Production Designer, VFX Supervisor, and DP to internalize vision.
• Act as internal gatekeeper for visual quality, setting and maintaining an aesthetic bar.
• Partner with VAD Lead to manage day-to-day production with a big-picture view.
• Bridge on-set crews, VFX teams, and LED volume operations during live shoots.
• Oversee real-time environments for in-camera VFX: build, optimize, deliver.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years leading artistic VAD teams with proven released projects.
• Expert in building, lighting, and optimizing photoreal Unreal Engine environments.
• Extensive on-set VAD experience in virtual production stages and volumes.
• Exceptional client-facing communication; explain complex tech to stakeholders gracefully.
• Familiar with AI workflows and generative tools to speed asset and env creation.
• Willing to dive into Unreal Engine to contribute to environment building when needed.
