Vice President, Strategic Finance

📋 Description

• Based in Miami; in-office 2-3x/week; travel to SF and across US as needed.
• Build and supervise associates in financial modeling (unit economics, KPIs).
• Teach, manage, and grow junior Strategic Finance team.
• Own finance function for early-stage companies; ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Lead equity and debt raises; prepare narratives, presentations, analyses.
• Monitor portfolio metrics and inform investment decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6+ years in PE, VC, IBD, or related investment/operating experience
• Exceptional quantitative skills, mastery of Excel; data from Mode, Looker, Tableau
• Desire and ability to operate as a full stack; train/manage teams while hands-on
• Attention to detail and a trusted pair of hands to independently take on responsibilities
• Proactive attitude to separate signal from noise and test hypotheses with data
• Impeccable integrity and ability to build trust with founders
