📋 Description

  • Acts as SME for Revenue Recovery products (DRG & DRGV) and Medical Necessity Denials.
  • Defines departmental goals, financial targets, and KPIs aligned with company objectives.
  • Leads strategic direction of Revenue Recovery and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees quality and productivity metrics and benchmarks.
  • Leads process changes and training of operational best practices within Revenue Recovery.
  • Ensures processes and inventory hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health information management, nursing, healthcare administration, or business; Master’s preferred.
  • Active CCS, RHIT, or RHIA strongly preferred.
  • 7-10 years leadership in healthcare reimbursement; 5+ years in clinical denials or inpatient claims.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with internal teams.
  • Strong understanding of inpatient coding, DRG reimbursement, and payer guidelines.
  • Experience navigating hospital revenue cycle environments and data/reporting tools.
