Veterinary Technician (Full-Time)

📋 Description

• Supports hospital operations by delivering quality veterinary care.
• Provides patient care via exams, diagnostics, and nursing care.
• Assists during surgery and procedures as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintains patient records and keeps medical supplies and equipment stocked.
• Oversees triage and discharge of patients; communicates with owners.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year surgical or general practice experience.
• Equivalency of education, certification, or experience acceptable.
• Confident in venipuncture, injections, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Knowledge of prep, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing surgery.
• Ability to restrain patients; lift up to 50 pounds.
