Pricing Consultant, you will belong to a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. Your duties and responsibilities will span technology design, stakeholder management, pricing strategy, delivery quality, process reengineering, and ad hoc analytics. You will build your own and the team’s technical and business acumen while driving substantial financial benefits to our clients’ bottom line.

As a Pricing Consultant, you will belong to a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. Your duties and responsibilities will span pricing strategy, commercial process assessment, stakeholder management, and ad hoc analytics. You will build your own and the team’s technical and business acumen while driving substantial financial benefits to our clients’ bottom line.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Lead all business/functional requirements workshops and gather, evaluate and document customer business needs and requirements.
  • Demonstrate Vendavo software and share best pricing practices with the customer in the context of client’s requirements and value proposition
  • Analyze and map client requirements based on Vendavo capability
  • Produce high quality business requirements documentation per Vendavo methodology
  • Work with the project team to implement the designed solution and deliver sustainable value to the customer
  • Deliver “Train The Trainer” training to customer core teams
  • Participate in other knowledge transfer to customers
  • Identify / suggest improvements to internal requirements tools, templates and processes
  • Leverage and contribute to corporate knowledge assets
  • Develop product and domain knowledge and expertise
  • THE SKILL SET

  • 3-5 years experience in B2B pricing, marketing, finance or related domain area
  • Experience with applications implementation in pricing, marketing, or related areas
  • Prior experience in developing and delivering presentations to various levels of an organization
  • Be a great team player and enjoy intense working environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferably, high-impact experience in customer-facing, consultative roles in enterprise software or professional technology consulting firm in one or more of the following industry groups: wholesale/distribution, high tech, industrial manufacturing or chemicals/process industries
  • Proficiency in the following would be a plus: JIRA, Visio and Agile methodology
  • Prior experience in a functional lead role on a project team is preferred
  • Experience with business requirements gathering and documentation
  • Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Assisting in planning, prioritizing and managing time to meet deliverables within customer agreed timeline and budget in a fast-paced environment. Assisting Technical Engagement Manager/Project Manager with controlling the project scope
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
