Vehicle Hardware Test Engineer (Fluids)

📋 Description

• Support development and qualification of fluid system hardware for Terran R.
• Translate design requirements into test strategies; iterate hardware.
• Ensure fluid components are robust and ready for integration.
• Design mechanical test fixtures for component and system testing.
• Turn hardware designs and criteria into test campaigns.
• Clarify test processes and develop creative testing solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering.
• 2+ years of fluid systems experience and architecture.
• Experience with aerospace qualification test programs (e.g., SMC-S-016).
• Experience with fluid components: fittings, seals, valves, regulators.
• Familiarity with FEA tools for structural margins.
• Nice to have: startup/launch-vehicle environment experience.
