The Role

Veeva is looking for a self-motivated individual with operations experience to join our Order to Cash team based in Shanghai, a positive attitude and a customer service orientation. This individual will be the regional owner of the Order to Cash (OTC) process. This role requires effective communication in a team environment while interacting with cross-functional, cross-regional departments, including Sales, Professional Service teams as well as the US Revenue team.

This position reports to the Revenue Manager, Asia and will manage all revenue-related matters in China and APAC regions.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the Revenue Manager/Supervisor to handle all revenue accounting, taxation, statutory and treasury matters across all business units in China and APAC
  • Interact with Sales Support, Sales and Strategy team in contracts review
  • Manage sales orders and invoices based on Executed contracts
  • Build strong trust with sales and strategy team
  • Responsible for investigation and resolution of unusual items related to billing and revenue
  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives, and support the simplification and standardization of order-to-cash processes
  • Serve as backup revenue specialist for all other APAC region
  • Any other ad hoc assignment
  • Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or the related degree
  • Proficient in English - both verbal and written communication.
  • Useful Korean in Writing
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS office applications: Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Nice to Have

  • Japanese or Korean-speaking
  • Experience in Net Suite
  • Software industry experience, especially SaaS
