THE OPPORTUNITYData-driven decision-making is at the heart of modern business, but managing and processing data at scale can be a complex and time-consuming task. Our ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) application simplifies data workflows, enabling organizations to extract insights faster, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock the true potential of their data.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of accelerating our development team and using your talents to empower your fellow teammates. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures, as well as a proven ability to collaborate across teams.

WHAT YOU BRINGTechnical Skills:5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, and CloudFormation/Terraform.Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions).Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK).Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
Collaboration & Communication:Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. B2 level English or higher is required.
WHAT YOU’LL DODesign, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS infrastructure.Implement best practices for cloud architecture, including cost optimization and high availability.Manage and monitor cloud resources using tools like AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning to improve efficiency.Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or third-party tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus).Ensure adherence to security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management.
FIRST 30 DAYS: GETTING STARTEDGet to know the team, set up your development environment, provision your AWS infrastructure, and get comfortable with our remote work routine.Dive into our tech stack, code, development workflow, and CI/CD systems.Meet with developers, DevOps engineers, and architects to understand the system architecture.Make your first pull request, and participate in the review of pull requests.
FIRST 60 DAYS: BUILDING MOMENTUMBegin implementing improvements in monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.Evaluate existing workflows for inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.Participate in the planning of the DevOps roadmap and upcoming projects.
FIRST 90 DAYS: HITTING YOUR STRIDETake full ownership for the development of a large infrastructure improvement or optimization project.Have a firm grasp on how the critical parts of the application works, and can take ownership for the application’s critical service uptime.Actively contribute to team discussions on architecture, design, and implementation strategies.Delivered measurable improvements to infrastructure, automation, or processes.Provided mentorship and thought leadership within the DevOps domain.Reflect on your contributions and onboarding, providing actionable feedback to the team on how they can improve their processes and workflows.
