Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations across accounting areas.
• Manage commission accruals/deferrals and capitalization of costs.
• Review revenue contracts and non-standard language documentation.
• Reconcile revenue impacts from contract amendments monthly.
• Add new accounting areas as the business scales.
• Maintain and reconcile GL in line with GAAP.
• Prepare support for internal and external audits.
• Optimize accounting systems and tooling for efficiency.
• Develop ad-hoc revenue reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and People teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 4–7 years progressive accounting; public + private a plus.
• US GAAP knowledge: ASC 606 revenue and ASC 340 contract costs.
• Experience in a high-growth/fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt quickly.
• Detail-oriented with analytics; NetSuite ERP experience.
• Self-starter with collaboration and strong communication skills.
• Experience with close management tools and optimization.
