- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for bi-weekly cycles across jurisdictions.
- Review and validate data changes (hires, terminations, comp changes, time inputs).
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies; troubleshoot with employees and partners.
- Manage employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clear service.
- Lead day-to-day workflows with outsourced payroll/BPO partners to meet SLAs.
- Partner with HR to ensure clean upstream inputs and accurate reporting.
- Maintain documentation, process maps, and internal controls for audit readiness.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities in payroll operations.
π― Requirements
- 8+ years in payroll operations, in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
- Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll; ADP or SmartCompliance a plus.
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear, concise communication; ability to partner with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field; CPP certification is a plus.
