  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for bi-weekly cycles across jurisdictions.
  • Review and validate data changes (hires, terminations, comp changes, time inputs).
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies; troubleshoot with employees and partners.
  • Manage employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clear service.
  • Lead day-to-day workflows with outsourced payroll/BPO partners to meet SLAs.
  • Partner with HR to ensure clean upstream inputs and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain documentation, process maps, and internal controls for audit readiness.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities in payroll operations.

🎯 Requirements

  • 8+ years in payroll operations, in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll; ADP or SmartCompliance a plus.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise communication; ability to partner with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field; CPP certification is a plus.
