Lead and support underwriting for new business, renewals, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate with AVP on production, pricing, control, and servicing of policies.
Develop scalable underwriting processes using Indigo’s model.
Apply underwriting guidelines and procedures to select and control risk.
Analyze and decide underwriting decisions per guidelines; coordinate with staff.
Manage submissions, renewals, and policy changes; review loss activity.

🎯 Requirements

3+ years as an Underwriter in Medical Professional Liability Insurance
Demonstrates urgency and meets processing deadlines per Underwriting Service Standards
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, PCF rules, and unique requirements
Production underwriting experience is a plus
Candidate location preferred on West Coast or able to work West-Coast hours
