📋 Description

• Underwriting & Appeals: execute tasks, manage appeals, draft decline letters, resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance & Audit: Lead Post Issue Audits, manage MIB reporting, conduct partner reviews.
• Claims & Data Integrity: Review applications for accuracy before FNOL; update Admin Portal.
• Carrier & Partner Relations: Primary technical contact for carriers; facilitate reinsurer meetings.
• Process Improvement: Manage underwriting mailbox; improve response times; test Gen-AI features.
• Operational Support: Maintain travel advisories; monitor OFAC watchlists; assist operations.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in underwriting (insurance/financial services), claims or technical underwriting.
• Technical Knowledge: FCRA, OFAC, MIB coding; medical impairment risk evaluation.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel; underwriting workbooks, Admin Portals, Milliman reports.
• Analytical Skills: Investigate disputed data; audit complex files; interpret carrier guidelines.
• Communication: Draft legally compliant correspondence; manage relationships with carriers and reinsurers.
