UM Nurse Manager

📋 Description

• Lead policy creation to meet regulatory, accreditation, and org requirements.
• Oversee daily ops to meet turnaround times per dept policies.
• Monitor dashboards and productivity to assess team performance.
• Maintain expertise in dept tools to inform analysis.
• Analyze data for trends and improvements; work with analytics.
• Create corrective and performance improvement plans.
• Foster accountability and recognition aligned with dept goals.
• Provide coaching and performance management to frontline staff.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent experience.
• Active RN license in state of hire; ability to obtain additional licensure.
• 4+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• 2+ years in Utilization Management using Milliman Care Guidelines.
• 1+ years in production/operations including case prioritization/triage.
• 2+ years leading a clinical team in managed care or virtual environment.
