As the Manager of Sales Engineering for the Public Sector at UiPath, you will lead a team of technical experts dedicated to empowering government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations with our innovative automation solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that showcase how UiPath's Automation Platform can help public sector organizations achieve greater efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction.
Build, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Engineers specialized in the public sector
Establish best practices, methodologies, and technical standards for your team
Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to ensure team excellence
Develop and maintain deep expertise in the unique challenges, regulations, and compliance standards facing public sector organizations
Stay current on government procurement processes, security requirements, and industry trends
Serve as the technical authority on applying UiPath solutions to public sector use cases
Partner with Sales leadership to develop and execute account strategies for key public sector clients
Lead complex technical discussions with senior government officials and IT decision-makers
Oversee the design and delivery of tailored demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects
Guide your team in customizing UiPath solutions to meet specific public sector requirements
Ensure all proposed solutions align with regulatory frameworks and security standards
Develop reusable assets and frameworks to accelerate public sector implementations
Contribute to revenue growth by providing the technical expertise needed to close deals
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Collaborate with Product teams to influence roadmap based on public sector needs
US citizenship with previous experience working in the federal, state or local sectors
Experience working with various public sector agencies and branches of government
5+ years of technical sales engineering or solution architecture experience
3+ years of team management or leadership experience that is relevant to sales engineering
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of building strong client relationships in the public sector
Fluent written and spoken English plus proficiency in a second language
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this role.
Experience with RPA, Agentic, AI, or process automation technologies
Understanding of government procurement processes
Background in digital transformation initiatives within government agencies
Experience navigating complex compliance requirements
This role requires approximately 20% travel to client sites, government facilities, and industry events. Role 100% remote
This role could scale in job level to a SR Manager given the qualifications are present.
