We are looking for an experienced Automation DevOps Lead with deep knowledge of the UiPath ecosystem and proven people leadership skills.
As an Automation DevOps Lead, you will coordinate automation deployments, manage environments and access, oversee production readiness, incidents and problem management and drive continuous improvement.
A key part of the role is to mentor and manage team members, ensure SoX audit compliance, and partner across technology, operations, and business units.
This senior role leads the Automation DevOps & Support team, delivering UiPath Automation Cloud seamless, secure, and compliant automation operations.
Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Automation DevOps and Support engineers, setting objectives and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Plan capacity, allocate tasks, and prioritize initiatives to meet business demands while ensuring team wellbeing and growth.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and clear communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
DevOps & Automation Cloud Administration
Serve as UiPath Automation Cloud administrator, managing tenants, orchestrators, licensing, and hosting infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Define and maintain best practices for automation deployments & operations.
Handle access requests and updates for platforms such as automation tools, password vaults, code repositories (GitHub), and tracking tools (JIRA), ensuring the right people have the right permissions at the right time.
Work with various teams to raise access requests and prepare critical business systems (like Salesforce, Workday, or Coupa) once testing is complete and ready for go-live.
Oversee environment readiness, virtual machine provisioning and secure system connectivity.
Coordinate the rollout of automation solutions from testing to production, ensuring smooth, auditable and secure transitions.
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and network/security principles.
Experience with API integrations, scripting (e.g. Powershell, Python) and enterprise monitoring tools
SOX security, Compliance & Audit
Establish and enforce strong access controls and segregation of duties aligned with SoX requirements.
Maintain audit-ready & updated documentation of all deployments, access grants, and configuration changes.
Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to prepare for and respond to audits and risk assessments when needed.
Ensure all automation lifecycle activities meet internal security and regulatory standards.
Operational Excellence
Oversee the controlled decommissioning of automations no longer in use.
Monitor system health and performance, proactively managing incidents and root-cause analysis.
Recommend improvements, architect operational solutions and drive innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience leading teams in DevOps, RPA operations, or automation platform administration.
Strong understanding of UiPath ecosystem, including Orchestrator, Automation Cloud, and integration with enterprise systems.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to have
UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced RPA Developers)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
Experience with SOX or other audit/compliance controls
Experience troubleshooting automation or infrastructure issues
