Role Overview

Senior Strategic Asset Manager, Hardware – a remote-first position partnering with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to optimize asset utilization, drive cost efficiency, and ensure compliance across Twilio’s hardware assets. You will shape asset strategies, manage procurement and deployment, and lead lifecycle planning and governance for hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic asset management plans for the hardware fleet
• Oversee procurement, deployment, lifecycle planning, tracking, and disposition of hardware assets
• Manage vendor relationships, performance, and contract negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, and Operations to align asset strategy with business objectives
• Monitor compliance, risk, and asset data accuracy; drive process improvements
• Provide data-driven insights to inform budgeting and forecasting for hardware investments

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in asset management or hardware procurement
• Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and sourcing capabilities
• Experience with asset lifecycle management and fleet/asset tracking systems
• Data-driven decision making and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong communication and program management abilities
