Twilio is seeking a Senior Strategic Asset Manager to lead the hardware asset lifecycle across the organization. This role combines strategic procurement, asset management, and vendor relations to optimize total cost of ownership and ensure compliant, reliable hardware across teams.

Role Overview

As a Senior Strategic Asset Manager, Hardware, you will own hardware asset strategy, procurement planning, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. You will partner with IT, Security, Finance, and Engineering to align asset strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end hardware asset management strategies, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, depreciation, and retirement.
\n
• Maintain an accurate asset registry and lifecycle tracking across all hardware assets.
\n
• Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives for hardware.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure asset compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Drive process improvements and automation in asset management workflows.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 7+ years of experience in hardware asset management, IT procurement, or related field.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, business, or a related discipline.
\n
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, data analysis, and communication skills.
\n
• Experience with IT asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Flexera).
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Experience with hardware lifecycle automation and asset disposal/recycling.
\n
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards as they relate to hardware assets.
\n
• Project management experience and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
\n

Location & Work Model

Remote – North America. This role can be fully remote within North America (with occasional travel as needed).
