Titan Security is currently seeking to hire Detention Administrators to work at a location in the City of Lincoln Park, Michigan. 

  • Prior corrections officer or law enforcement background preferred.
  • Hourly compensation will start at $18.00 per hour, with a part-time schedule (including weekends) and will receive paid training. 
  • Schedules will consist of working all three shifts, days, afternoons, and midnights

The Admin for this position will work in a correctional facility setting and will be responsible for duties to include:

  • Oversee and monitor the activities of the intake and release areas.
  • Complete all daily information forms necessary in processing offenders in/out of the facility.
  • Update computer upon arrivals/departures of offenders.
  • Update count board upon arrival/departure of offenders. 
  • Operate Fingerprinting for incoming offenders.
  • Ensure all arriving offenders receive appropriate identification, including ID and wristband.
  • Responsible for completion of inventory of property for incoming/outgoing offenders.
  • Properly identify each offender scheduled to be released.
  • Notify necessary departments of pending incoming/outgoing offenders.

Qualifications:

  •  Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours.
  • Must be able to regularly report to work without being late.
  • Ability to be physically alert on any shift that is assigned.
  • Work experience in a correctional setting is preferred.
  • May be required to possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be mature, flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of inmates or detainees and staff, philosophically committed to the objectives of the facility, and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • 1 year experience as a security or corrections officer
