  • Manage an appeals pod: hiring input, onboarding, coaching, performance.
  • Own daily intake/triage, evidence gathering, second-level review, timely resolutions.
  • Handle high-severity appeals; approve exceptions; ensure conflict-of-interest controls.
  • Build Appeals operating model: roles, SLAs, taxonomy, weekly rhythm.
  • Measure & improve: dashboards on Time to Resolve and First Touch.
  • Enable frontline training on appeals standards; coordinate policy changes.

🎯 Requirements

  • 4+ years in Trust & Safety, Risk Ops, or Quality; 2+ years leading teams.
  • Hands-on re-review/appeals or escalations; strong judgment.
  • Analytical; proficient with SQL/Sigma and actionable dashboards.
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator across Ops, Policy, Product, Data, Legal.
  • Growth mindset; balances speed, fairness, and compliance.
  • Available to work a 1pm-10pm PST shift.
