Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the systems that power data and software platforms. This role will focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, Terraform-based automation, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Nonetheless, we are open to DevOps/Cloud Engineers who are otherwise experienced but just need to ramp up on GCP from another cloud provider.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform, covering everything from IAM policies and networking to environment provisioning.

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Jenkins for automated testing, deployment, and environment consistency.

  • Support and improve infrastructure observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.

  • Collaborate with data and software engineers to provision and optimize resources for applications, APIs, and data pipelines.

  • Partner with external infrastructure support providers to troubleshoot issues, implement new architecture, and maintain compliance with best practices.

  • Contribute to infrastructure documentation, design reviews, and continuous improvement of internal cloud standards.

  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, cost-efficient, and reproducible, aligning with modern DevOps and cloud reliability principles.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.

  • Strong experience managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, including IAM, networking, and project structure. Open to AWS and Azure willing to ramp up in GCP.

  • Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code patterns.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment workflows.

  • Experience supporting data and analytics workloads (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt) a plus.

  • Scripting experience with Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
