Job Summary

This role seeks a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The position requires solid object-oriented programming skills, Git proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API design is a plus, offering opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and full-stack exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Ruby applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• +6 years of Experience as a Software Engineer

• Strong proficiency in the Ruby programming language.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Experience with the Ruby on Rails framework.

• Familiarity with Git for version control.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills..

• Experience with React for front-end development.

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and related frameworks.

• Experience with API design and development
