As our growth continues, we are looking to welcome a new Energy Consultant to our community. As an energy consultant, our role goes beyond simply finding a contract. We work closely with businesses to analyse their energy usage, identify opportunities for efficiency, and secure the most suitable and cost-effective supply agreements through tailored procurement strategies.

A key part of our role also involves supporting organizations in setting and achieving their sustainability goals. This includes developing strategies to lower energy consumption, improve operational efficiency, and reduce carbon footprint through renewable energy options, carbon reporting, and energy efficiency measures.

In short, we’re here to take the complexity out of energy, helping businesses save money, use energy smarter, and move towards a greener future.

Responsibilities:

  • To self-generate a book of new business in the UK Energy sector to help deliver the team’s sales plan and annual gross margin targets via our suite of consulting, sustainability, and proprietary technology services.
  • Generate your own leads through cold calling, networking, prospecting, and developing strategic referral relationships.
  • Implement internal processes and procedures to improve the sale lifecycle.
  • Work on sales forecasting, growth plans, and weekly/monthly management information.
  • Assist with other opportunities and energy projects when appropriate to do so.
  • Experience and skills:

  • Sales experience required
  • Strong/proficient verbal and written communication skills in English language and market relevant language
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Desirable, but not required in depth understanding of flexible purchasing/risk management strategies
  • Networking skills
  • Independent lead sourcing
  • Excellent presentation skills
