Triage Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead projects to improve tools to discover and track issues.
• Use an automation-first approach to evaluate releases and improve our release process.
• Implement a data-driven method for issue prioritization and resolution.
• Create high-quality documentation to train new team members and productionize processes.
• Help drive Waabi’s safety culture applying safety standards across teams (Systems Eng, Hardware, Software).
• Support documentation and tracing of all product and system requirements to tests and their executions.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance Waabi’s behavioral evaluation capabilities; document lessons learned.

🎯 Requirements

• Undergrad required; undergrad or Masters in engineering preferred.
• 4+ years in automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry.
• Experience with requirements and metrics for driving behavior evaluations.
• Experience with root-causing complex systems in testing (structured and unstructured).
• Experience with STPA, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and/or UL 4600.
• Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics.
