About The Role

  • As an Application Support Specialist, you’ll provide first-level technical support for business users, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth software operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to business units and operation users, for software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, including software bugs, user errors, and system outages.
  • Collaborate with the development team to communicate and document software defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of support interactions and solutions in our communication channels.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, as necessary.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of application support.

    • Expected Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in application support or a related technical support role
  • Strong understanding of software applications, including database technologies like SQL, with the ability to write and execute basic queries
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana, AppDynamics, or similar solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Java (considered a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Good command of English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Available for hybrid work
