- Lead safe transport of flight hardware between SpaceX sites, including transit.
- Directly manage the transport crew and contracted vendors.
- Review permits, route surveys, inspections; develop contingency plans.
- Travel with flight hardware on long-haul transports.
- Primary in-transit decision contact (route changes, escorts, driver changes).
- Provide DOT/CFR input and operate forklifts and cranes to load/unload hardware.
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year load transport and inventory experience
- 1+ year loads prep, rigging, packaging
- Overhead cranes and lifting procedures experience
- DOT regulations and CFR knowledge
- Scheduling/production instructions; ITAR/export authorization eligibility
