Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on custom SpaceX tooling
Inspect and analyze precision tools per engineering requirements
Maintain and repair advanced tooling and structures (e.g., friction stir welders)
Plan work from tool design drawings or our own designs
Lay out, fabricate, and assemble jigs, fixtures, and master tooling
Develop holding devices and jig/fixture details

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
1+ years in precision mechanical construction or tooling
Associate degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
2+ years in model-based metrology (laser tracker/arm/CMM)
8+ years in model-based metrology
Siemens NX and Verisurf; GD&T blueprint interpretation
