Tooling and Fixture Specialist

📋 Description

• Design, fabricate, and modify tools, fixtures, and jigs for projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and engineering to translate build requirements into tooling.
• Support prototype and R&D builds from concept through completion.
• Operate manual and CNC tools including mills, lathes, and grinders with high accuracy.
• Read GD&T, CAD models, and drawings to meet tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot tooling and fixturing issues and provide timely solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as Toolmaker, Machinist, and Welder in fabrication.
• Background in R&D, prototype, or low-volume production; comfortable with evolving requirements.
• Strong proficiency with manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
• High mechanical aptitude and meticulous quality.
• Self-starter who drives loosely defined tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
