Title & Curative Associate

📋 Description

• Work with internal and external systems to clear curative matters hindering closings.
• Review defects in Title incl. line adjustments, missing titleholders, liens.
• Review chains of title to identify clouds and clear defects.
• Work with closing department to ensure proper payoffs for closing.
• Order deeds to change vesting for timely closings.
• Review complex files, trusts, and plat maps.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years title & escrow experience.
• Excellent communication across phone, email, in person, and remote.
• Ability to multitask, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, and legal documents.
• Proficient with various computer programs; bonus: ResWare.
