📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive GTAW welding training program for Starship and Super Heavy.
• Translate skill requirements into hands-on lessons with Weld Development, Build Engineering, and Operations.
• Teach GTAW welding techniques in classroom and lab; provide demonstrations and assessments.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise lab work to ensure safe learning.
• Assess student performance through practical tests, projects, and written exams.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, organized laboratory environment.
• Stay up-to-date with welding tech and integrate advances into the curriculum.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in welding/engineering + 6+ yrs welding exp; OR AS + 8+ yrs; OR HS + 10+ yrs.
• 2+ years teaching or training in classroom/industrial settings; ability to lift 25 lbs.
• GTAW/TIG welding knowledge; safety standards and industry practices.
• AWS CWE/CWI credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in developing training programs and instructional materials.
• Ability to work with diverse student groups; aerospace welding experience.
