GTAW class A welds; cut, trim, fit and fabricate metal components to dimensions.
Collaborate with lead welder to ensure proper weld procedure, material and rod size.
Analyze drawings and specs to plan welding when procedures are unavailable.
Weld assembly and fabrication of various small to large scale structures and assemblies.
Modify repair, assemble, and install launch vehicles.
Check work after each operation to ensure it matches drawing.

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
1+ year TIG welding experience in manufacturing or cert within last 2 years
AWS D17.1 and D1.2 certifications preferred
Knowledge of DC welding techniques and welding standards
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Experience with welding stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, aluminum and titanium
