TIG Welder, Chamber and Nozzle (Raptor)

📋 Description

• Welding, assembly, and fabrication of fluid systems and sub-assemblies
• Repair casting defects via grinding, welding, and blending
• Read and interpret drawings and CAD for welding operations
• Use precision tools: micrometers, depth gauges, calipers
• Improve operations, reduce costs, and streamline processes
• Operate shop equipment and vehicles (forklifts, booms, scissor lifts)
• Conduct in-process inspection
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Take ownership of weld area equipment and processes
• Take initiative in problem solving and cost reductions

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year aerospace TIG welding experience
• 1+ year fitting welded assemblies
• 3+ years welding stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, aluminum or titanium
• Proficient in tube cutting, grinding, and fabrication up to 6 inches
• Blueprint reading and layout proficiency
• Welds that pass visual before X-ray or dye pen
• AWS D17.1 and D1.2 certification
• ITAR requirements: US citizen or permanent resident
