About the Senior Manager, Sales role
The Senior Manager, Sales at Thinkific leads and scales our sales organization from a distributed base in Canada. This role reports to the VP of Sales and is a critical driver of Thinkific's revenue growth in a remote, regional context.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a high-performing sales team across SMB and Enterprise segments.
- Develop and execute revenue strategies, forecast accurately, and manage the full sales funnel.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to optimize the end-to-end customer journey.
- Manage key accounts and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive long-term growth.
- Coach, recruit, and develop sales talent; establish clear metrics, processes, and rhythms.
- Represent Thinkific externally at industry events and with strategic customers.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales leadership with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to thrive in a distributed/remote environment; comfortable working across North American time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into education technology or professional development sectors.
